After 8 months I finally got CT & dye scanned yesterday - yeah! The team were brilliant and all went well. They took great care to get crisp images and did the dye scan twice.
Between the scans the main imager asked me if anyone had mentioned heart failure or aortic valve stenosis to me. Is this a standard question during this procedure or do you think something was noted on the image?
I have a practice update with a nurse booked for Thursday - phone call. Any experience from the forum would be appreciated.
Today I am sore - just as if someone had forced a liquid through my heart ...

When I had my CT Angiogram they had to get a Consultant to look at my results before they would let me home! Then I knew something was wrong. Turned out I had severe calcification in my arteries. At least they didn't do that, they must think you are perfectly safe. Whatever they have found is a good thing. They can deal with it and get you treated if you need anything. Don't worry, worry is often the biggest enhancer of symptons. All the best, Susie xx
