Question about use of Glyceryl Trinitrate

Recently been diagnosed as Anemic. Its affecting my heart. Does anyone know if using the above frequently, say 2 to 3 times a day causes the heart to weaken further or is it safe to do so in the long run?

Thanks! Am a lot better now. It appears the frequency was triggered by Anemia. No sprays required and heart feeling better.Thanks for the link I was looking for the helpline nurse number but could not find it! Thanks a million!

I am no medic, but I would think if you need to use it several times a day, you need to consult someone, GP or cardiologist.

I tried, earliest they could econsult was 4th March. The Anemia is better with home remedies and now its just needed once a day (if I exert myself with work). Phew.

I was using it several times a day. Couldn't get hold of my GP, generic advice from 111, so spoke to my pharmacist they told me to go to A& E. From there I was admitted & ended up having an angiogram. Diagnosed with vasospastic & microvascular angina.

Thanks will look up the two conditions.Anemia better since 2 to 3 days with my own remedies, feel very active now.So will see how it goes else call 111.
