Hi Foxyhole, any damage to the heart muscle is done st the time of the heart attack, as far as I am aware. It is always best to get checked at the time or as soon after as possible in case it looks like it may happen again. Any similar symptoms use your GTN and get checked immediately.

Thanks, I left it for 2 days so I'm hoping when I get my echo scan it will be ok. I got stent put in last week, now a 6 week recovery plan in action🤕

Cheer up Foxy positive attitude is important. Cardio Rehab will show you what you can do and what it feels like to work your cardio system in safe conditions.

Hi Foxyhole,

The only way to determine whether you have done any damage to your heart muscle due to your heart attack is to have an echo scan. I hope you have your scan soon so that you can discuss the results with the cardiologist.

Take care,

Emily

Phoned my cardio nurse yesterday and she is going to speed my echo scan up. I feel it stops me from being confident

Ph my cardio nurse yesterday and she is going to speed up my echo scan as I'm getting impatient, only because I want to do more but I'm sticking to my plan I got from rehab nurse
