Heart flapping around quite some. Is it a sign if things getting worse? I have heart failure and have been getting quite some extra beats in the ticker. Hop skip and jump.
Is there any way of controlling these? The aniexity that comes with it is terrible. Feels like my heart is skipping out of my throat. I check my pulse and seems in nice rythum except these skipped beats. BP is ok.
I have had worse in the past when my ef rate was on the lower side. This improved to above 44% but it has dropped slightly since.
Are these a sign that my heart has peaked and is now on the slippery slope? Does anyone else get this on the regular? Daily? I know walking usually takes this away but i couldn't just walk around all day and night. Its the rest times i am getting them worst.
Your heart flapping around, that's just the way I would describe it. I don't have heart failure but that happens to me quite a lot, in fact that's why I'm on here at this time of night -midnight -my heart beat is jumping around right now and I can't get to sleep. It always seems worse in bed at night, that's because it's quiet and you're aware of it more. Then we get anxious which makes it worse and it's a vicious circle. The only thing I can say to you is try listening to some calming music on your smart phone in bed- BBC Sounds Sleeping Forecast helps me-and it also helps take away some of the feeling of my heart jumping out of my chest. It's an awful feeling I know, and I'm so sorry you're experiencing it.
Thank you i will try this. I do notice after a good sleep and throughout the night mostly that i dont get it. Even on the morning it seems to have calmed nicely. Its usually when i am up and about after taking meds.
