Hi folks,

Just started flecanide 3 days ago, sounds a bit pathetic but they are so very bitter ! Worse than anything I’ve ever had before , worse than sucking on a paracetamol… is it just me ?

Do they come in a capsule or a coated form does anyone know ?

Having said all that I’ll put up with it as it’s definitely settling my PAF … just some odd thumps & bumps occasionally but hopefully that will settle …. don’t scare me anyone , it’s been an anxious decision 😬

Thank you 😊

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie. I take Flecainide for SVT. I agree with you they are unpleasant tablets to take. I have had them stuck at the back of my throat many times and they don't taste nice! I now drink lots of water when swallowing them and that seems to help. As far as I am aware they don't come as film coated or in capsule form.

Thank you for your reply , that’s what happens to me , they get caught in my throat .I’ll just have to take more water with it which is no bad thing really. Small price to pay for the benefits 😊
