By chance I have found out I have mild Heart decease , 65 calcium score , but my cardiologist says the blockage in my LAD is too small to give a percentage, therefore is a calcium score not necessarily related to the blockage amount, I have not had a heart attack , passed all the running test etc. However I am told for preventative measures I must take statins and asprin ,

I am understanding things now and everyone is talking about percentages of the blockage , well my lady cannot tell me as its too small- but she tells me I have a calcium score of 65 and mild heart disease- what I am asking is - obviously the calcium score is not necessarily related to the blockage amount or percentage or is it ?
My cardiologist told me that all medical research has been done on taking 40g of statins and it halts progression in some cases slightly decreasing its because this is what they call an aggressive dose in someone who has not had HA or anything else in fact symptomless so I don’t think on what I’ve been told it is inevitable that it will progress , I pay privately for this advice, in fact she said I would out live my mother who is 90 and the prognosis is excellent
