Hello to you and a warm welcome to the forum, I hope that it can help support you during your illness and help elevate some of your worries.

OOOOOOH The Night Time Worries,

We could write a book on here of how many suffer with this and even though you are an amazing individual, you are still traveling the path of so many of us.

We always hear about things being worse at night and I think a lot of it is to do with the way that we connect with our thoughts as the lights are turned off.

Every click, every pause, every bump is now magnified and surly must have an answer to its creation .

Its a demon that we all have to face and fight in some form or other.

You are not alone now and especially your not at night.

When I raised a similar worry with my cardiologist , his reply was simple,

"You woke up this morning didn't you? so the heart was working during your sleep patten without any input from you, like it has everyday and every night for the last....how old are you? "

Take care you are in my thoughts

That's OK for him to say isn't it.Always worse at night.

Hello :-)

I suffer with anxiety and night times are always the worst the days are not great but people are about and you have more energy and coping skills to get through the day time at night it feels you lose those and you just focus in on the fear so I really feel for you as I know how it feels I dread bedtime and start to feel everything I fear

You now have somewhere you can come and talk and I know that won't get you sorted any quicker but I do hope it helps to know you are not alone :-) x

Hi welcome to the group 😊.

Sorry to hear about the night time worries but like everyone else here I can definitely sympothise I'm lying down trying to sleep and I have pain and my breathing gets faster then the pain increases then it just suddenly stops this happens every night so I just got used to it and dosent help that you can hear and feel your heart beating like a bass drum at night seems to get worse at night for some reason for us all! 😢

I hope you get your echo and get some piece of mind from your consultant some times that's all it takes your literally worrying yourself sick about appointments and test results I do it all the time you can't help but worry.

Take care ❤️

Hello

LBBB and Heart Pauses mmmm They can be a nuisance but not sure how dangerous they are. I have had them for at least 3 to 5 years. My Heart can pause for 3 seconds but Cardiologist is not very concerned !!! I only notice it at Night when I can hear my Heart pumping away through the pillow. Cardiologist reduced Bisoprolol from 10mg to 7.5 but I still get pauses, but a lot less, and now I have just learnt to live with them. Unless they are causing you problems I think the answer is you just have to learn to live with it. Have they offered you a Holter Monitor or was the LBBB diagnosed from an ECG ?

Sorry not very helpful but I can understand your anxiety.

Take care and a Merry Christmas

Thank you for your reply. LBBB diagnosed from an ECG. Also left ventricular heart failure. They said I could have had an incident recently. The Troponin test was negative. Very breathless if I do anything. Also I have realised that the muscular pain I thought I had intermittently could be angina. Gtn spray takes it off immediately.

What I find hard is I thought I was fit and active. Train 3 times a week mainly weights and look after my 4 grandchildren. Felt fine!!

I would think a Cardiologist would need a little more than an ECG for diagnosis. I believe ECGs are notoriously inaccurate for some results. Do you have an Ejection Fraction indication for your Heart Failure diagnosis, and have you been given any Medication for HF ?

just trying to help

Take and Best Regards

Hi, I have had 5 ECGs all saying the same. Rang up each time after first three saying GP needed urgent apt. Now awaiting echo which has come through for Jan 10th but cardiologists appointment is 30 December so he won’t be any further forward. It’s all crackers. Those were urgent appointments too as no beds in the hospital when Gp and casualty consultant tried to get me one!!
