I would like to meet up with people near me who have had a heart attach and are on medication.

I am 73 female, I play golf, swim, table tennis and have active like and enjoy london, I was really shocked to find I had a heart attack, just wondered if there was a local group??

I think it is a shock to us all when we have a heart attack but you sound like you have recovered well

This is just my opinion but I think when we join online groups it is a great way to get support and even make friends but I think you really have to get to know that person really well over a long time before thinking about meeting up with them so I would find your local group that is run where it will be safe

Have you been offered any Rehab ?

Usually the Hospital you will have been in will give you the Rehab Nurses number and if you have not been given one then phone the ward you were on and ask if you could have the number

You can then ask them about the Rehab classes or if they know if any groups in your area

I had a little look and I will put you the link on if you press on it then it will take you to a support group in your area it looks really good and even if you are not near where it is you could ring them and ask the nearest one to you
