bumetimide and Flecainide

does anyone take this combination of meds . I have atrial fibrillation and have fluid retention. Dr suggests that I take a diuretic but am worried about the interactions

Perhaps you meant "bumetanide".I checked on MedScape Interaction Checker and it shows none. My pharmacist uses MedScape.

Hi, I’m not on the same meds as you, but on a mixture for CHF and AF. Bumetanide is the diuretic, it hasn’t caused any troubles other than being careful about when it’s taken! Definitely not before a car journey. If taken in the evening, I’m up and down all night, bit like a brides nightie! However, it’s one of the meds that are keeping me alive, and I’m grateful for it. Will do a lot rather than risk flooded lungs again, very unpleasant and almost fatal.
