I am celebrating 😀 4 yours ago I had my heart attack and I’m still here.. Back on that awful evening the surgeon and my family wasn’t sure that I would make it.. Here I am in the Canary Islands enjoying the beautiful weather and simply enjoying my new normal life 😄

100% agree with you.. it’s my second chance and I’m making the most off it.. I was once that scared, worried & anxious person . This group helped me through some off my toughest days. This group is awesome. I hope I can give someone on this group hope and that it will get better and you will start living your best life again x

Hello Lynn1966 - you’re glowing…. How wonderful for you being in the beautiful sunshine on your jollies. How long did it take you to turn your corner and get around the worry and anxiousness? Are you still being checked out etc by the hospital? Go on, cheer me up and give some good advice as I’m stuck in a rut. Don’t do it now - when you’re back home! For now treasure each day away on your hols. Have fun and keep smiling ❤️

Lovely positive post , so nice to see you enjoying your life and making the most of it , it goes to show there can be positives after a heart attack , i had a h/a 2 years ago and have really struggled with it all, i was terrified to fly again but have just come back from Prague ( only a short flight ) but now im more confident to fly again, who knows i may just reach my dream to go back to south africa for my 60th . May i say you look really well Lynn 1966,its posts like yours that help people to regain there confidence again x

Happy Birthday to you Lynn… this is your second life. I will be celebrating my 3rd year Heartiversary on the 28th of this month and for the past 3 years have been celebrating it as my second birthday. And as everybody has already pointed out, you look wonderful. I hope this smiling face is a reminder for everyone (including myself) that there’s still more to life and we got to live and enjoy every moment.

Thank you to every single one of you for your lovely comments 🥰 I had a wonderful time away. I am so pleased that you all found that it was a positive post. I just wanted to let you know that there was a time where I never thought life would be ever the same again after my H/A.. Life was very hard after the H.A for at least 18 months .. I was like ohh I don’t think I should be doing this or that. I can’t eat this or that. Every niggle I had I was worried sick that it was happening again. Then one day I thought I can’t live my life with so much anxiety and worry. When I got or get the niggles now I think 🤔 well I had these niggles before and I’m still here. As time went by my life changed for the better.. I’m not suggesting anyone should ignore their niggles . It worked for me and I am absolutely enjoying my life with my family, friends ,work & holidays 😃😃Thank you all once again 😘😘

Wonderful! Don’t over do it! 😊 I’m in Indiana and we’ve been having fantastic Autumn weather! Super grateful for my husband who has been joining me on my ❤️‍🩹health power walks. Not looking forward to the winter months. 🧣
