I have mild trace mitral valve prolapse I was diagnosed in 2015 i have had 3 children since no problems and another in 2009 I had postpartum thyroiditis after my last daughter in 2021 and from then the symptoms I had was trigeminy which I have never experienced before all blood tests are completely normal by cardioltsaod their completely harmless I’m starting to think could these be triggered from anxiety as when I’m under stress or feel adrenaline surges nervous or scared they happen also happen during intimacy which I never had before my main concern is has anyone had these i pregnancy and have been told it’s fine and not to worry I have been given pill in the pocket of propanol to take if I feel I need it but from my research you shouldn’t take these whilst pregnant and I hate these and wish they would go away it seems the thyroiditis triggered it and it don’t seem to be going away

Hi Stacey. I can't really help with the specific question. However, your local pharmacist is the best person to be able to tell you whether you can take Propanolol while pregnant. I would then get an appointment with your GP to discuss your anxiety and whether it is causing your other problems. None of us like taking pills, but they've been prescribed for a reason, so need to be taken.
