HF/ Cardiomyopathy and going strong!

Hi everyone!

I'm back again! So i wanna share with you guys that I'm extremely happy with the results of my latest scan and with the letter i received from my cardiologist.

To start of,a quick recap with happened to me, i was diagnosed with HF last January and i also have cardiomyopathy. Dreadful. I was devastated.

Now, as you see from my prev post that everything is going well with my treatment and with the letter i received from my cardiologist, it says that i moved from severely dilated LV to mild and that size of my heart shrank from 6.7 to 5.9cm and that there are no signs of HF! This was last month!

Again, i had another scan, which now confirms my EF from 15% back in January to 45%! Thank God! I'm almost in the range of normal EF! Another good news is that the size of my LV shrank again to 5.1cm which is now in the normal range! I'm so pleased with the results of the treatment and the medication!

again, I'm sharing this to let everyone know that there's always hope. Have faith! Science has massively improved and there are a lot of things that they can do for us!

we've got this! We are strong and we can do it! We will get better!

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻What brilliant news! We must have been diagnosed with heart failure about the same time! I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy at the age of twenty but was fine started on ace inhibitors at the age of 29, anyway since January I was told heart failure too (long story) but I now have a ICD which I had fitted 4 weeks ago but they are still fixing meds out 🤞 things start to pick up now! Soo happy to hear your great news you must be on a high! Well done you👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Xx

I am! Thank you! At my age, having that news being given by the doctor, is not fun at all. I was shattered. Specially when i googled! But everything went smoothly afterwards, and here i am today posting about the good news to everyone! So how are you feeling now? Hope everything's alright mate!

Well done on your recovery, I was below 15% when I was in hospital and 2 half years in I am at least over 65% as I am still waiting this year's results.. but not all will be so lucky... But have trust and keep on the same path everyone
