hello , I’m beginning to think I’m going crazy , can anyone help based on your experience as I know we are not doctors 🙂

A few weeks ago if I was walking my h/ beat was around 90 , if I was doing something a little strenuous say 105-110, sitting 80 ish , sleeping 60-65

Now even walking up hill not much higher than 80 , sitting 65-70, sleeping 55-60

Along side this I feel light headed and my blood pressure is dropping to 110/70 where normally it’s high ,

I’ve nearly fainted off three times in the last week

I take

Candestarten 8mg

Clopidigrel

Adizam

Ravostatin

So not lots of things that many of you are on , I have spoken to my doctor quite a few times and they don’t seem at all phased by it , but I feel awful 🤷🏻‍♀️

You are not alone Hazel. So many people have fatigue. Mine descended after I had a full stroke..about seven years ago. And it hasn’t gone away.Quite a few covid sufferers have fatigue. Exactly the same symptoms as us lot. And the nhs seems to pay huge attention, with medical appointments, special classes and loads of research. Perhaps we will benefit from their findings.

I had the most awful night terrors, but they have gone away.

I did a proper trial on clopidogrel, made not a jot of difference.

You might be worsening your symptoms by continually monitoring.

Isn’t it lovely and cool today. Long May this last..

Morning 😊 many thanks for your reply, I’ve spoken to my doctors who seem happy for me to be fainting like a Victorian maiden 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I’ll keep going , have a good day

Dear Hazel1010

You have to make your Dr listen to your worries, regardless of your readings and stats at the end of the day you feel bad and it has to be addressed.

I cannot for the life of me understand a Dr that finds it acceptable for you to faint like a “Victorian maiden” { the vapours } and the damage that you can do to yourself in a fall, because there is no stopping a full faint.

You could be out shopping or the shock of it for your loved ones should they witness it.

Get back to that Dr or better still change them for a more understanding one that will recognise that something is wrong that even at a basic level of first aid you are taught.

I wish you well

Thank you x I’ve got to be honest I’m so upset about this I’m fed up of being treated like nuisance by doctors , I have an appointment next Tuesday if I don’t get back to them before then 😊

Why don't you try the BHF Heart Helpline to see if they have an opinion
