I know I've posted a lot of questions lately. .Sorry if seems very needy, just in a fragile place right now. Thank you allnfor your support, information and kind responses.
Thank You!: I know I've posted a lot of... - British Heart Fou...
Thank You!
Hi Seaguller,
I can never answer any of your questions, but I get a bit concerned when you haven't posted for a while.
We are all here to support each other. I am sorry I have not been able to answer some of your questions but will naturally support where I can. Take care, Judi
We're all fragile and needy - just not always admitting to it. Keep posting. You are stronger than you think.
Hi Seaguller, I have never replied to your posts because your condition(s) don't match mine, so I'm no expert or even experienced.
I have read between the lines that you have been very anxious about your condition and particularly about the apparent lack of treatment and care from the NHS. We are all pretty much in that boat, I get more info and support from this forum that from anywhere else. I haven't seen a Dr for 18 months after being dismissed at 6 weeks post haert bybass (x2). I'm personally at the point where I don't bother with my GP for anything other than repeat prescription.
This place is here for us all to help each other, keep posting and hopefully you will become more relaxed about your condition. Don't take adice from me about the NHS, I've always worked alone 😂😂
Best, Steve
Oh wow I’m the same !! I haven’t seen a doctor cardiologist or anyone since the day I was papped out of the hospital, also I call each month for a repeat script and that it . It’s really ridiculous. On another side of it . My husband has had to go private to get treatment for his knee cus the nhs don’t care at all . Thankfully that’s paid through his job .
People say speak to yiur GP. Since I moved 14 months ago, I don't even know what they look like. One asked me on the phone what I looked like 🤷♂️ Why take advice from a stranger who's never met you 😳😡
Yeah !! Exactly, they sent me the wrong medication once , a medication that can cause Cardic arrest , I went ape shire because I took it for almost a week before I noticed , still didn’t see a doctor, got a phone call saying aye sorry 😂😂
Hi Seaguller, we can all need support at times and it’s good having here as a come to. I’m having counselling for anxiety at the moment 11 months post heart stuff. It was being told I’m being referred to an electrophysiologist that was my tipping point. The generalised anxiety just escaped out 😂😂. We’re all work in progress I think but if we work together we’ll get there. Best wishes.
When I had my heart attack last year I was never of this site , the advice and kindness I got was and still is invaluable to me , certain posters really reassured me that I wasn’t alone anymore, I’m menopausal and although I can see their names in my head for the life of me I can’t remember them to name them , even now I still post . For instant the post about breathlessness you posted helped me a lot as I suffer from that . It’s a really good community.
I really don't think there is any need to apologise. I've only been on this forum for a year or so (I think) but my sense is that this is what it is for...to ask questions, share experiences, seek reassurance, share worries. I've answered a few of your questions. They are interesting. Im sure others benefit from the threads that they generate.
It is completely understandable to have periods of fragility.
And it takes courage to name that and to stay connected during those times..
We've all been there.
Keep attacking mate! All the best.
