Hello Report after recent intervention !!
This gentleman was brought to the Cardiac cath lab for a Coronary and Graft angiogram with standby PCI. Recent History CABG X 2 in 2015.He had LIMA to the diagonal branch of his LAD and Vein graft to the OM branch the circumflex.
He went on to have PCI to his mid -LAD in March of 2018. He has LV impairment with an EF of 39% and his RCA territory is non-viable.
His coronary and graft angiogram today confirmed LIMA to LAD branch patent
Vein graft to OM branch of Circumflex patent
Native RCA total Occluded
Mid LAD stents patent but severe disease in the proximal LAD and left main stem.
Having reviewed the coronary and graft angiogram, I was fairly certain that the culprit here was the left main and proximal LAD disease. We treated this this with a single drug-eluting stent and achieved a very good angiographic result.
I am fairly certain he will be rendered asymptomatic following this intervention.
Technical Report
Left Radial Artery
Pre-dilation 3.5mm Balloon
3.5x24mm Synergy post dilated with 3.5mm
Final Result Excellent.
I will see him in Clinic in due course for follow-up ( Appointment received for 6th September )
I have posted this to show what a Good Cardiologist gives his patient and also the information for Heart Failure Nurse and GP. Since the procedure I have not had any chest pain, still a little short of breath but at almost 75 I will live with that.
