Hi I have been on 10mg Nicorandil twice daily for two months for angina and it has definately helped with that. I have developed muscle pain in my legs particularly the large muscles from groin to knee and wonder if this could be caused by Nicorandil Thanks for any advice!

Hello brs986

I have been taking Nicorandil 30mgs twice a day for nearly 10 years.

I do not have any issues with muscle aches or pains in my legs.

I don't know about muscle pain, but mouth ulcers are a side effect. I got mouthfuls of ulcers so didn't take it for long. I just use GTN spray when needed.
