Low Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

I have noticed that my HRV is consistently under 20 and a quick search around on Google suggest this is something to be concerned about. I’m 51, average height and weight and generally quite fit (run 5k 3 times a week) so I was a little surprised and worried. I’ve noticed previously that my resting heart rate is quite low (often under 50bpm) and it has been mentioned before that this could be an indication of Bradycardia. I just wondered if anyone on here has any similar symptoms and what I can or should do to improve my HRV. I’ve booked an appointment with my doctor but would be interested in anyone else’s advice or experience as I’m concerned that continuing with my running might actually be dangerous. Just to add finally that I don’t suffer from stress in general apart from the usual bits here and there as this is often identified as a cause of a low HRV. Thanks.
