Dear Lukey
Without doubt, by far the worst part of your procedure is the waiting.
Please try your best to calm yourself. Whilst the stenosis is moderate then you have a good safety margin. When you are classed as severe then you will need the operation. Your new valve has a life span, so you don’t want your op too early.
The procedure is not like any other hospital procedure. It is very well organised and the staff are true experts. I actually have fond memories of the hospital.
But the waiting was nerve racking.
You might feel you are being ignored. But when the experts consider your case is urgent then everything rolls quickly.
Good luck
