Hi nice to meet you all on here about a year ago I was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy it’s not been a good year quite scary but the plus side I have a better understanding of my health now which can make all the difference.

Hi I also have dilated cardiomyopathy. Was fit as a fiddle before being diagnosed bout a year ago.How are you coping with things now.

Well it’s getting my medication right which up to now is still tricky I need a upgrade on my icd I still don’t feel right but hopefully once they get the tablets right I’ll feel a lot better it’s just takes time to get use to changes and making the best of things it’s not easy but you have to make best of the important things in life

Yes takes some time for your body to adjust to the tablets etc.i was the same but feel ime on the right dosage now.Ofcourse don't have as much energy as I used to so have to build it up a little each day.Usually managing to walk a couple of miles a day.Also just taking a day at a time.Take care and let's know how your getting on.
