I have just found out about a new product, it a solution of sea salt but because of the way that we actually taste salt, the actual flavour to amount is really good.

It saxa sea salt spray, you use it as a mist over your food, and a really small amount goes a really long way, the bottle is 100ml and contains 23% salt by volume, I brought a bottle three weeks ago, and gave it a try, I used it in place of any added salt on food, and have only used about a fifth of a bottle.

The usage direction and quantity recommendations are well out one or two pumps are quite sufficient.

As some of us have medications that are not suitable for some of the pottasium based salt substitute's it's another option.

Not a endorsement just a possible way for some of us to have the salty flavour that high blood pressure and cardiac surgeons say we mustn't have.

Even my shouty nurse didn't shout at me over it.

Hello Rogo23, without reading your post I would probably laugh at such a product if I noticed it on the supermarket shelves & consider it an overpriced scam - maybe even work out the price of the salt contained in the product to add amusement. BUT on reading that I will now probably buy one to try, I don’t have issues that restrict me from adding a little salt but if there’s a better alternative then why not give it a try?! Fantastic post, thanks. Steve.

My first thought was well that is probably a rip off, but I thought that at£1.20 I will have a lash. And after three weeks decided that it was a good supliment to the pepper grinder on the table.

So thought that I would tell people about it.

May I ask where you bought it.thanks

She has a strong manner, and a firm tone.I am in total fear of her displeasure.

Apparently it's for my own good, I think that she is probably a sadist, but her advice works.

Just told my husband. He's diabetic with high BP and although I deliberately don't cook with salt he shakes at least a teaspoon over every meal. He can't see how much he's using but it's a massive amount. It worries me.
