Pacemaker
Hello
This was so nice to read
I am glad your wife is feeling more confident sometimes talking to others is all we need
If you need anything else or she wants a little confidence boost just come on and post
Let us know how she gets on x
Absolutely nothing to be afraid of or to worry about. Had mine in. August 2019, overnight stay in hospital, local anaesthetic….went home next day and carried on with life as usual.I’ve got. 24 hour monitoring with a bedside table Mediotronic device, last appointment with Cardio October 2020, next one next week so obviously no problems.
The pacemaker gave me a whole new life. It was a surprise when I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy nine years ago. I was actually quite annoyed as I’d never ever had anything wrong with me in all my seventy years!! So I was determined not to let this change my life.
I think mindset is a very important factor with heart problems. Worrying and being depressed could make things worse.
Take care both of you and let us know how she is
