Hello
We can all suffer with headaches from time to time and that is everyone that has not had strokes or heart attacks
The weather has turned warmer that can bring one on , something you have eaten , stress anything can cause headaches that will not go away until they are ready to and of course the more we over think it the longer the headache lingers
If it were to get worse then talk with your Doctor , try not to take to many painkillers as sometimes this can cause what they call rebound headaches
I am pleased you have been doing so well and I hope the headache goes away soon and you feel better x
Hi collie. Obviously a headache can be caused by many things such as eye strain, tiredness etc. Sometimes, however, there may be a more important reason and maybe you should have a chat with your GP if this is sudden onset or not normal for you. Your post caught my eye because I was in for a routine heart check and had a hypertensive crisis (extremely high bp). My GP asked if I had had many headaches lately and indeed I have. Headaches can be linked to high bp. Have you checked yours recently?I
I hope you get to the bottom of this issue. Best wishes x

I do think it would be wise to mention it to your GP, with your history, particularly if paracetamol isn't working. You just said you took it, not if it worked! Taking a few notes with you, about exactly where it hurts, when it happens, what you were doing at the time and anything that relieved it, etc, is often very helpful to the GP.
