Rash ??

Hi all I have developed a rash under the skin , not itchy etc - however my hands are blotchy abs as you can see from photo some are as are more red

Is this connected to a heart condition?

Sorry for some reason post sis not put up all I typed - I was told - not by a dr - that it could be due to circulation getting worse ?

Looking at the photo generally your skin is a good colour, obviously some reddened areas but what is the skin temperature like? Burning, cold, numb, tinging, painful? It doesn’t like like allergy hives but circulatory in nature is odd, looking at when it is? Are nail beds tinged blueish? Send photos via email to GP is my advice but do let us know how you get on. I have been suffering from similar to this from last june to December. Dr did blood tests gave me creams and some cream to wash.in but nothing helped then one day it stopped itching and went away. I was so pleased. Unfortunately in the last week i have the little blisters reappearing so it looks like its starting again.I still have no idea what it is but the itching drives me mad.

The skin of the lower part is quite poor and has been attributed to PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease), Vascular Eczema and Diabetic Dermopathy.

Diabetes can cause a lot of skin problems. Are you by any chance diabetic or pre-diabetic?

Your first port of call does have to be your GP. Let us know what they say...

No diabetes at last check , bloods taken often - severe heart failure 2 years ago at last check ef was 29/30 I’m getting more joint pain in hands too my left hand has similar blotches not itchy and all under the skin - my left hand is 50 % numb as I cut it off a few years back however I am noticing different tingling in both

Just a thought. Obviously your GP is the first port of call but I was admitted to hospital a couple of days ago with vascular problems and I mentioned that I had developed a rash on my left breast. I wondered if it was anything to do with any of my pre-existing health conditions but the surgeon said it looked viral to him. So it is being treated as shingles and hopefully it will go now that I have anti-viral cream. Perhaps yours is something similar?

Thanks Mel ! Hope you are ok ! The strangest thing is it’s not itchy , sore , raised etc - couple of weeks ago it started and I tested negative for covid but gp said it may be covid related
