Oh heck! No questions on Gin…. I have been up the Xingu river though it’s just off the Yangstse where I had the biggest gin ever poured by a Chinese bartender who was unfamiliar with spirit measures🤯🍸. It took me a lot of tonic to wash that one down 😂

The appointment was postponed four hours after the appointment time. I also had a seond session of microsuction that wasn't a brilliant success as I seem to have some last century wax blocking my right ear!

Sorry to hear that. I was sent a letter cancelling a cardiology appt dated the day of the appt and received 2 days later. Fortunately, they'd had the sense to text and call me before the appt.

They called me last week but the actual letter was only delivered 20 minutes before the appointed time! The problem is they use an outsourcing company 100 miles away. I often think direct employees do a better job as it is "their" hospital. I have seen this reflected in both good and cleaning!

Punic wars. History teaching at my grammar school was such that you started with the Greeks and Romans and worked forwards. As I had to give up history and geography at the end of the third year (as it was then) to focus on the three sciences I never studied beyond the Middle Ages or any European geography. I picked up a lot of geography when I worked on international telecommunications.
