Your so interested in heart related questions that you haven’t even asked one yet and it seems that you can’t even be bothered to fill out your bio, but for some reasons you have the insight to see how this forum should be run, a forum that has been running a long time before we joined and will run along time after.
Please use your knowledge and insight into helping others and leave the other bits to us.
Just for your information I have gone to some fantastic parties with just four people in them and I have gone to some lousy ones that hundreds have been involved in.
If I had a question that hadn’t been answered by using the search facility and reading (a lot) of answers already posted, then I would ask a medical professional.
My bio is filled out sufficiently and as far as I am aware is optional!
I am extremely curious as to what you mean by “leave the other bits to us”? Who are the ‘us’ you refer to? Is there some secret group that decides who ‘us’ are?
Oooo Sheldon - Don't be such a grouch - Many of us 'hearties' enjoy the occasional distractions such as quizzes, virtual coffee mornings and general silliness. If I spent my entire time thinking about our collective heart conditions and illnesses I would have left this forum a long time ago. Chill out and relax your body but most importantly remember you could always ignore a thread that rattled you.
There are lots of heart forums available on line, maybe you should join those groups if you're unhappy with this one? You do seem to be the only one with an issue. I don't doubt the post has been reported, why not let admin deal with it and take yourself off somewhere nice for the day, do a bit more of that chilling?
When/where did I say I was unhappy with this one? I questioned whether these are really appropriate, as IMO they aren't. Seems like the few that do like these quizzes are ganging up to put me down, shame on the few of you.
FYI just got home thanks, 90 mins gym session, bit of shopping, all done.
I don't think anyone is ganging up on you, I don't think you realise you have made a number of negative comments against 1 member of the group.... targeting? I don't understand what you're so concerned about, initially you were answering Michael's quiz questions and in fact questioned whether he was giving the right answers or any answers at all. You also answered questions on the now deleted posts from another member. So what's changed?
I have noticed you and your negativity have virtually been stalking MichaelJH. The HeartStars seem particarly prone to this from you and other individuals. Why don't you just go away (to be polite) and find something else to do. Neil Parish might be able to advise you on hobbies and interests!
SheldonC, the title of this post is quite clear. If you don't want to join in a bit of fun, that's fine, but just stay away and keep your sad views to yourself.
All the posts that you have ignored just to get back to this one when you could of used your obvious people skills to help others. That is the real shame.
Yes, it makes you wonder doesn't it!! No mention of the virtual BBQ's or tea parties, just Michaeljh' quizzes! Do you think the Sheldon is finding the questions too difficult?🤔🤣
The odd post I get, it happens, but when it becomes a regular post, from several dif people, I questioned if it is appropriate, is that really so difficult to understand’
No it's not difficult to understand at all!! 🤣 What is difficult to understand is you've no doubt reported it to admin and rather than let admin deal with it you have made more of an issue of it than is necessary with a number of sarcastic comments to various members, which in turn has caused more members to defend the quizzes. How is doing that being more helpful to a heart forum than a quiz.
Did you report the now deleted posts from the other member? If so, I would think admin are now more than aware of your feelings on the subject & will deal with it as they feel appropriate!
Oh dear, when a small number of people decide to 'disagree' with me and comment as such, I am supposed to ignore them? LMAO practice what you are preaching.
Like I said, I'm off out for some real 'fun' with some real people.
That's great to hear. Btw there's a post that you might want to respond to as you have the experience the poster is looking for. I'll see if I can find the link for you
I think I know the post you are referring to, sadly when I woke up from my CA i'd had OHS, I think the recovery from that trumped the recovery from the damage from CPR, so not something I can answer.
Would they not be similar? Both CPR & OHS involves the breaking of bones in the chest area, I would have thought the pain/healing etc would be the same. I'm sure the poster would appreciate any advice you could give him
I've never had a cardiac arrest or OHS fortunately. But I thought the whole point of your issue with the quizzes was this is a forum for heart problems so I would have thought you'd want to help in any small way you can. Anyway, should you change your mind and decide to answer the poster here's the link
Ignore Sheldon & do more quizzes! I enjoyed trying to work out the ones that used to be on here before. Only thing I would have changed is after a couple of days add the answers so we know what we got right or wrong. A bit of light hearted fun never hurt anyone & is good for mental health
So here a few hours late are the answers. Well done everyone.

Thanks Michael for the answers and for setting the quiz - a little light relief for you as well as us and nearly all of us appreciate what you do. It is not worth commenting any further on some of the negativity on this particular thread. Goodness knows some of the questions, answers and discussions we have to regularly share are troubling enough as it is and I have found the support of this forum to have been essential for my own journey to the operating theatre and beyond.
Hope you are keeping well in yourself in the mean time and keep up the good work.
Thank you Michael for a bit of light hearted fun to distract us from grim reality. Please don’t stop. We all need some relaxation which is eminently good for the heart.
