Travel insurance

Hi my husband has had some stents fitted three years ago and just looking at quotes for travel insurance to go to the US. They seem pretty high so just wondering whether anyone knew of a specialist company?

My brother had heart trouble long before I did, he always used Staysure.He was taken very ill on the last holiday he took, that ill he had to had to stay on in Morocco for an extra 12 days and have a flight home accompanied by a Doctor.

Staysure were incredible in the way they looked after him and his family.

Since then I've always used them rather than shopping around and trying to save a few quid.

Thank you. I was able to get the single trip cover with Staysure for the price my main provider, via Lloyds Bank, quoted then withdrew.

Medical care is VERY expensive in the US, so insurance is going to be costly, especially with an existing condition. Does it have to be the US? (Unless visiting friends/family, of course)There are plenty of other wonderful countries!

I am lucky in that I have retained the group insurance I was in when I was in work, It will remain in place until I am 70 so 5 1/2 years left.I like to holiday in the USA and know that health care is very expensive there, much more than other places World wide.
