I was on Eplerenone for a year and had no problems other than it increased my breast tissue - not good for a man!
Personally, I do not consider it acceptable to be asked to accept pain when it is not necessary. Pain control was a big issue after I had my bypass operation - pain killers were always being offered to those whours needed them. A review of your medication certainly needs to be carrived out.
Hi my husband is not on the tablets you are taking but was having major chest pain in his jaw teeth chest and down his arm. After having to wait for 8 months he had an angiogram and needed stents, that was after seeing someone privately. If you are having chest pain it does need checking out.
I had chest pain when I had a heart attack, the pain was from the arm to the chest, but now I have pain only in the forearm, a sharp pain that comes and stays for two minutes and goes away and always comes at the end of the day. I'll have to go to the cardiologist because the GP doctor told me to continue with the medication because it's muscle pain, but I don't want that pain.
Hope you get it sorted, with covid the way it is getting to see a cardiologist is a nightmare at present so good luck. We paid privately in the end thank goodness. Take care and get it seen to.
