i’m just wondering how everyones mental state has been ever since they first showed signs of AF or WPW and how its been since your ablation… my depression and anxiety has decreased quite a bit over the past few months but there are still days where it is tough. at times i feel like im going to panic and go crazy or sometimes i feel aggressive. i’ve never felt this way before all of this happened. wondering if its normal and if it gets completely better?

It seems very natural (to me) to feel anxious or depressed when you first have any heart symptoms. Made me feel very mortal! And it took me time to learn what I could do to avoid certain symptoms, but I still find unpredictable symptoms like AF and unstable angina can still frighten me, if severe, as it seems to come out of the blue and I can’t quite work out why. Makes me feel pretty helpless. But, for me therapy helped.
