Pins & needles

Hi folks, I have HF & DCM, recently I have started experiencing pins & needles/ numbness in 1 or both hands whilst sitting with my feet up knitting. Does anyone else have experience of this ?

I get pins and needles in my feet and ankles when I lie down. I have mentioned it to doctors but apart from suggesting a lack of vitamin B they do not seem interested. I had vitamin B levels checked but nothing significant there. I have heart failure so it may be down to reduced blood flow to extremities. I don’t know if this helps. I should be interested to hear if you find a solution as it is quite uncomfortable.

By any chance are you taking Atorvastatin? Pins and needles in hands and feet are a know side effect of this statin.

I have pains in my feet and my hands go numb and tingle a lot. No idea why. Started this year. I do take Atorvastatin as well as the usual HF tablets.

I get numbness in my finter tips, they go completely white and it takes a lot to warm them up, also get cold feet. I have HF also and think it something to do with the blood flow being restricted. Take care. xx
