Tired arms

Good evening hearties,

Does anyone with DCM have weakness/tired arms? It’s like I don’t have the strength to even clean my teeth lately ❤️

Hi Sez,I've just had my 2nd heart attack. One of symptoms for me has been really tired arms and even now they feel week even if I can use them.

Might be worth a chat with your GP or consultant just to be on the safe side.

Hi Snoweybm, yes I have DCM and my arms and shoulders are very week. Just started rehab in the gym so hoping I can get a bit of strength back. I did lose 23 kgs over the last 11 months since I was rushed into hospital. So don’t think that helps!

Wow, 23kgs that's fantastic! Well done you! I'm on a health drive again now and I'm using my time back in hospital to lose some weight (hospital food lol 😂).

Hi Snoweybm, just to add, I didn’t lose the weight on purpose, I got a stomach bug, Hellicobacter Pylori , nasty little bug that can cause stomach bleeding and stomach ulcers. It was easily sorted with a weeks worth of antibiotics plus another tablet. Problem was it took them 3-4 months before they actually took my weight loss seriously. They thought it was due to my illness and getting used to the new tablets. However I suppose it has benefitted me as I’m not carrying the extra weight. 🙄

I have weak arms, I can barely lift a towel! I've not got DCM though, myocarditis for me...I wonder if that's the same for others? Hope you're feeling better soon
