Has anyone been on Amiodarone, and do you feel worse when you first take it, I’m dizzy and had bad palpitations that wakened me from a much needed sleep and can’t seem to stop trembling

Hello Warmsox
I was on Amiodarone for a few months 3 years ago. I felt absolutely dreadful at first, but after a few weeks I felt more or less ok with it. I later developed tremors & was taken off it after a couple of months.
If you can’t stop trembling I suggest you check with your prescribing consultant - always better to be safe than sorry; it’s a very powerful drug. Others take it very successfully without a single side effect. We’re all different & need to advocate for ourselves!
Best wishes
