Hello , have to say since going to A&E Monday last week with very rapid and erratic heartbeat I’ve had all but instant action , appointment on phone tue , many call backs from same nurse who called agin yesterday to say she’s completed a report for my gp and an action plan
I’m going to be prescribed a tab to lower my heart beat ( which is low anyway ) to under 60 for two weeks and the a scan of some type to check for any furring up ( sound like an old kettle)
Anyone else had this done recently?

Sounds like you will be put on a Beta Blocker probably Bisoprolol, the go to for lowering HR and arrhythmia's. It's pretty tolerable in most, but some don't get on with it, personally I find it OK. Sounds like you are being referred for a Echo or maybe an Angiogram? The Angiogram is used to check for blockages in the arteries. I am currently waiting on one. Waiting times seem to be pretty long though so don't get your hopes up. Hope it all goes well.
