Good afternoon all just looking for a wee bit help to stop my mind going off in a different direction, ha and 2 stents fitted in July things have been a wee bit up and down, just went back to work on Tuesday but come Wednesday night I didn't quite feel right so I went and had a pcr test done and just like that it comes back positive I have covid,so I've been doing really good these past few weeks I feel this is just another kick in the teeth,I very rarely got a cold but now with all the medication in on I'm scared having covid will affect me in some way

I suspect a lot depends on how poorly you are with Covid, my understanding is you can be symptom free to hospitalised. I am not actually sure what medication (if any) you are given when you have Covid. 2 friends of mine have it and while they feel unwell they have just been told to rest up.I had a bypass in 2017 and 3 weeks today had 2 stents fitted so am certainly wary of getting Covid, I am one of those people who still avoid crowds (and other people) always wear my mask and use loads of hand wipes as well as regularly test.

Hope fully you will only get a mild dose so all your medications won't be effected and it won't have any impact on your stents. Good luck.

Hello Emcd8477 I spoke with HF nurse re covid….. her advice was paracetamol and rest. But making sure you get help asap if you feel any decline in your condition. Hope your feeling better soon. Regards Chris

I had covid when I came out hospital having had my tripple bypass, probably got it in the hospital but obviously can't prove that although my PCR was negative two days before I went in. Anyway I could'nt really tell how much of my weakness after the op. was covid and how much was the op. Anyway I recovered fine and a year later I am doing well. As people keep saying, for most it is a mild illness. Hope you recover quickly.
