Chest pains

6 months now since bypass, my chest was numb, but the last 3 weeks the pain hurts either side of scar, and find it uncomfortable if I lay on my side, does anyone else have this?

I am not saying this is the same but I am 4 years + after my by pass surgery. The area around my scar is no longer numb but I still get periods of discomfort (I want to differentiate between pain) I try and remember that they leave us with metal wires inside the chest and I bet from time to time our body is going to complain about having a foreign body inside it.Obviously if it a continuous pain then a call to the GP won't hurt. It can be so easy to forget how big an op this is as they cut down your breast bone to open you up, not for the feint hearted,
