I’m doing okay. I’m still struggling to understand. Why my cardiologist did not prescribe any medication for hypertension while I have LBBB? My blood pressure from 110/77 in the morning and 135/79 in the afternoon (working hours). After working, I’m sitting on the couch for an half hour, my blood pressure 124/75.

Probably because your BP is normal!
But you should ask him/her what the reasoning was.
Your BP seems fine. Is it going up in the afternoon because off stress that could be reduced. Other thoughts ; is your weight OK, are you drinking too much coffee, the odd cigarette maybe, not enough exercise, etc. I would say don't worry about it, make any changes you can and accept you may need medication as you age.
wish my BP was as good as that lol.. obviously your Cardiologist is happy with your BP.. i’m on 2 meds for hypertension.. but on a bad day systolic (top figure) reading can still get up to 155
Hi Tinylady2021Your bp is not considered high which is why I imagine your GP did not prescribe medication. High is considered to be a reading of 140/90 or more. Normal range is 120/80 so yours is slightly up but I would think lifestyle changes could bring it down. If you’re not sure about what to do, discuss with your GP I would suggest xx
I have similar readings to you when I am not on medication (although mine is higher in the morning and lower in the afternoon) so I have just had arguments with my GP in order to get him to agree to take me off medication. I don’t think we should take drugs unless we really have to.
Good morning, When I woke up and wait for 30 minutes to bp. My bp is 115/70. What do you think of my bp since I noticed 135 to 145 over 79 in late afternoon?
I left Harefield Hospital with 9 meds, and a stern warning to keep my BP 140/80, it would appear cardiologists have different rules regarding medications, I hope you get the correct treatment, have a word with your GP if possible he may be able to prescribe you something.Be safe
