I know I shouldn’t have done this, but! The other day I went with a friend to view a wheelchair accessible flat. As we were running late we went to a McDonald’s drive-through. The young lady behind us leaned on her horn and started mouthing something because we were taking too long to place our order. So when we got to the first window I paid for her order along with our own. The cashier must have told her what I'd done, because as we moved up she leaned out her window and waved to me and mouthed "Thank you.", obviously embarrassed that I had repaid her rudeness with kindness. When I got to the second window I showed them both receipts and took her food too. So she has to go back to the end of the queue and start all over again, We gave her meal to a homeless person begging at the edge of the car park.

😂😂 wish I had the nerve to do something like that!

I think you should be very, very ashamed of yourself to be honestAre you not aware the food is s**t???

True enough about the food - but a homeless person got something to eat so it's not all bad.

😂 now that as made my morning, wish I had the nerve to do something like that. Maybe she will think twice about being so rude in the future.

Your much braver than me, I'd just ignore her as more worried about the consequences. Initially thought you were going to make her approach you so she could apologies before she could have it, but im sure the homeless person appreciated a hot meal even more.

Your meal will have tasted all the better for giving a homeless person a meal, feel good Michael, you taught her some manners and fed the homeless person, two good deeds for the price of one, well done.

Beg to differ.A disproportionate response which was vindictive and calculated and without empathy. You appear to have cared little for the woman's circumstances or state of mind, judged a bystander by their appearanc, then to assuage what I hope was guilt, gave your surplus food away.

Using this site as a platform to self-publicise and seek approval for your questionabl behavior, only compounds your ill-judged and petty vendetta.

Just offering an alternative perspective.

Cor blimey! Looking at this and your profile I wonder if you write the Times crossword? :) MichaelJH and Milkfairy are the stalwalts of the forum. Considering what he has been through I am surprised Michael retains his sense of humour! I am sure he made the right judgements.
