Hi everyone, sorry to hear that each one of us having issues with the heart one way or the other. It is quite difficult.
I have been having for the past last week a terrible upper back pain. Almost every night. Just at nights which is strange. And also I get this sensation of heat in my chest and sometimes in the back.
I had a heart attack on March,2020. I have two stents. The recovery was slow but It was good. I was feeling ok. But it has been few weeks that I am not myself.
Spoke to the Cardiologist and he said it could be angina. Put doses up for two medicines. He said if I keep feeling not too well I will have to go to A&E
I am very scared because the Cardiologist told me that my heart is in a very bad condition and it will be very risky to do a procedure.
I am diabetic Type 1. I have been diabetic for almost 34 years. I haven’t been having a good control really. So it is probably my fault.
I feel so so bad and I don’t know what to do.
Please any comments or suggestions will be good I will really appreciate it.
Can back pain could be just related to the heart or something else?
Thank you so much!

None of us are experts here so really can't answer your question, I'm so sorry. Have you tried your gp or cardio rehab team?? I think k you should phone 111 or 999 and get this checked out as soon as possible
Hello
I had 3 heart attacks and everyone was different regarding where I either had pain or sensations
Reading your post I would suggest if you feel something could be wrong the best thing to do is go to A&E
It could be nothing as we will jump to the worse scenario but always better to get checked out
Hi I had 3 stents last November been in and out of hospital 3 times . One was the same symptoms as you described I was admitted after what I thought would have been a review appointment at my doctor he got an ambulance from the surgery to take me to the hospital stayed in 4 days But thankfully diagnosed with gastro oesophagitis not heart related at all it was scary because like you I thought it was heart again But I am glad I had it checked, put me on Lansoprazole 30 mg. It was hard to get the description of the feeling in my chest and back to doctor in A&E but he was brilliant and said it could be gastro related and he was a young doctor. I am not saying that you have the same thing but please get it checked out for your own piece of mind ,a piece of advice from my paramedic always always get anything you are worried about checked out. Please get it checked I have been in your shoes and the anxious times thinking it will go away and taking 12 tablets a day now where as before a paracetamol if pushed. Let us know if you get it checked.
