I have no idea but I would suggest calling your cardiologist's office and getting the real answer from them. Make sure that you're not doing more than they said you can. For instance, my cardiologist when I was 53 said do not push, pull, lift or carry more than 20 lbs. Do make sure you are not over exerting.

I’m in the same boat as you , my hot flushes last most of the day and night , I have a fan attached onto a lamp and a dyson cool air fan in the living room , I have one that goes around my neck and lights up disco colours !! Neck fan from amazon, wonderful invention. I also have one at the side of my bad . Even with all that going on I still suffer badly , it’s just horrible. The only thing I can suggest is talking to your gp about going on hrt, make sure it’s hrt and not anti despressions as they have a habit of giving them out instead .

Hi , can I ask what the dyson cool air fan is like please . I sleep with a tower fan next to my bed but I am wondering if this dyson one is good to replace my tower fan. Thanks x

The dyson cool air filter fan is actually fantastic, very quiet as well , the air from it is cool air and it filters the air so it’s nice and fresh . It costs £300 from dyson .

Thank you. Do you think its cool as a normal tower fan ( the £20/£30 ones ) x

Hi barb ,, yeah it blows cool air into the room instead of a ‘ normal ‘ fan that just blows the still air around that’s already in the room .
