Unexplained sweating/nausea

Morning all

Had 5 stents inserted in Nov/Dec last year and despite all the usual discomforts/worries haven't had too much trouble with them.

Until a week ago when I started to feel a general chest discomfort culminating yesterday when I awoke at 4.00 with pounding palpations followed by full body sweating, nausea and dizziness to the point of feeling faint but no chest pain. Thinking the worst I called for an ambulance and was swiftly taken to the JR in Oxford for a battery of tests all of which came up completely clean. No HA, no issues with the stents, NADA. Nurse suggested it may have been a panic attack but was nothing like any panic I've ever had before.

On the usual pile of meds (high dose atorvastatin, ramipril, clopidigrel, bisoprolol, aspirin)

Has anyone here had a similar experience or any thoughts on what has happened? Trying not to be overly concerned and failing right now.

Thanks HappyJo

No arrhythmia for me thankfully - heart rate rarely goes over 70 unless I'm in the gym (train most days with no sign of angina so doctor thinks circulation is unlikely cause). Going for a stress test in a couple of weeks to double check.

I'm narrowing it down in my mind to either meds or anxiety but still concerning.

Arrhythmias can come and go and may not always be caught on a single EKG. Certainly not diagnosing, just basic info which you probably know.

A stress test sounds like a good idea.

I would suggest calling if it happens again
