Alcahol and verapamil 120mg

I have a wedding to go too on Saturday, but currently on verapamil 120mg.. Can I drink alcahol while on them?..

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Alcohol can enhance the effect of Verapamil and vice versa. This could potentially mean hypotension or feeling drunk on a small amount. Another point is looking at your profile you suffer from AF. Alcohol can be a trigger.

You are probably on other medications so I would suggest you check with your GP or cardiologist. It's also worth trying your first drink at home rather than feel embarrassed at the reception!
