Shadow on heart x ray

Hi, I am hoping someone can help ease my worried mind. Had B P reading of 239/110, went to A &E last week. Bloods, ECG ok but x ray showed shadow on heart. GP increased BP meds Heart attack 6 years ago. GP not received results yet but said if serious they would be back by now. I am new to this community site so if anyone had similar would love to know. I am terrified it is heart failure and a death sentence

Hi I am obviously not medically qualified to comment on you X Ray result but I don't think a shadow would indicate heart failure. However I can say from experience that heart failure is not a death sentence. It does not mean your heart is failing. I was diagnosed with heart failure 3 years ago and with healthy diet, exercise and meds it has improved significantly.Hope you find out soon and all the best.
