The best travel insurance for the Caribbean

Hello, could anyone tell me the best insurance for travel to the Caribbean for someone with a pre-existing heart condition, many thanks

You never know how good insurance is until you have to claim, my brother was taken seriously ill a few years ago in Morocco, he was insured with Staysure, they were incredible. They were that good that all the family have used them ever since.

Stay sure are brilliant. I used them a few years ago when my back went into spasm on holiday. The doctor treated me in the hotel and we had to pay there and then, but stay sure were amazing when we got home and very quickly refunded us. I would love to go on holiday again bit with covid in every country I wouldn't risk it I'm afraid. I hope you get good insurance and you have a lovely holiday. Stay safe

Hi Lavander, Money Savings Expert (Martin Lewis) used to have a small list of travel insurance for pre-existing conditions. I’m sure it will still be on his site. I remember ‘Staysure’, can’t remember the others. have a lovely time btw.. 🏝

Another vote for StaySure. My no. 2 would be AllClear.

Premiums for the USA and Caribbean tend to be particularly high reflecting the charges in these countries.

I do not recommend INSUREANDGO. We went to the Caribbean and my husband ended up with a bill for one night. They refused to pay. Staysure are better imho. Just my opinion.

Hi saga travel insurance is excellent, covid cover included, possibly a bit more expensive but they have a five star rating, hardly anyone will insure me so I don't have many choices, £100 for a week in Spain 😭have a wonderful holiday I hope to get away later in the year char
