Well after seeing the transplant team today there are 2 things I must work on as soon as I get home. One is been more active and the 2nd is I have 3 months to lose 2 stone. I’m going to rejoin slimming world and have a 5 minute walk every day and build up slowly. I should get discharged lunch time tomorrow and I will be so pleased to get back home

Sounds like it's all going well. Take care. X
Ok so you have a plan of action, you know what you need to do. I wish you so much luck you will get there. I know it must sound daunting but you can do it you have come such a long way and they will want you as fit as possible for surgery.
Best wishes Pauline
As they're sending you home with a 'do this over the next three months' direction, can you take it to mean they're hoping to list you in 90 days?
Are they hoping to increase lung capacity with the weight loss and exercise goals?
Hi... That's a reasnobly gentle target that equates to a pound every three days. One thing I would say be wary of is fruit as you can take in quite a lot of sugar as fructose. You could maybe encourage yourself with a weight loss thread on here. No need to put your weight just your loss to date. You have plenty of friends here. I will join you although it's only half a stone. I have crept up to 93kg (leg adjusted) and need to get back to 90kg!
Great to have a plan to focus on, I think we behave ourselves more when the doctor has ordered it 😂, I’m also going to join you, have been struggling with will power, but now have a problem with my leg, so going to get focused too, we are all with you 💕 xxx
Sounds like a plan, Tori...🙂A colleague of mine had to loose quite a lot of weight before they operated on her (not heart related). I think the body recovers better if it is a healthy weight, less strain on the heart etc..
Keep it up, Tori, you’ll do it ...💜
That’s great news and a plan as well! Don’t be daunted by the twostone goal , you will do it no problem , I’ve lost a stone an a half in seven weeks I’ve been eating kebabs burgers chicken etc , you can do this . Get yourself some new workout clothes and if will motivate you to get moving a bit. Best of luck xx and much love
Hi Tori. I'll join you too. As a diabetic, I'll look for some good advice from MichaelJH.You've got lots of friends here who'll support you.
You'll feel much better once you're home. Sending love and hugs. Jan xxxx
Well at least you have a plan now buddy2blue and you sound determined think once your in the right mindset your good to go - I think that’s always the difficult part I’ve been looking to see when my local slimming world will open I don’t have a lot to lose but I would rather go in and be weighed rather than doing anything online but I wish you all the best and know you will do it you have great determination Take care 😀x
I hope the Freeman looked after you well.Best of luck with the weight loss programme. Perhaps some of us with lockdown surplus could join you and compare results occasionally?
You have a goal now to work towards. It won`t be easy Tori but keep thinking of the rewards. You can do it xx
Sounds like it is all going well. You will do the weight loss we are all behind you. I need to lose several kilos also so happy to join in with others and we can do it together.
Good luck on your journey with slimming world. Lots of fantastic recipes and great support from other class members and your team leader, you can also get great recipes from slimming eats. All the best.
You have a goal and no doubt support with this from the team, your family, gp, HF nurse, and of course all of us lot of here. You have the strength and determination to do this and you know what it will mean when you achieve it. Very best wishes for the next chapter of your journey, we'll be there with you. Love and hugs xxx
