Cholesterol rechecked

Doctor asked for a recheck of cholesterol as my readings in December were slightly high.

December 2020 results:-

Cholesterol - 5.6 mmol/L (216.55 mg/dl)

• Triglycerides - 2.51 mmol/L (222.3 mg/dl)

• HDL - 1.33 mmol/L (51.43 mg/dl)

• LDL - 3.1 mmol/L (119.88 mg/dl)

• Non HDL Cholesterol - 4.3 mmol/L (166.28mg/dl)

• Cholesterol/HDL ratio - 4.2 mmol/L (162.4mg/dl)

April 2021 results:-

Serum Cholesterol - 4.7 mmol/L (range 3.0mmol/L to 5.0 mmol/L)

181.75 mg/dl

Serum Triglycerides - 1.39mmol/L (range 0.00 to 1.90 mmol/L)

123.12mg/dl

Serum HDL Cholesterol - 1.37mmol/L

52.98 mg/dl

Calculated LDL cholesterol - 2.7mmol/L (range 0.00 to 3.0 mmol/L)

104.4mg/dl

Serum Non HDL cholesterol 3.3 mmol/L

127.6mg/dl

Serum Cholesterol HDL ratio - 3.4mmol/L

131.48mg/dl

Not been a Doctor I really don't know just how good or bad your readings are or what they want them to be but slightly high is better than been told that they are high and it is good that they are keeping an eye on them and monitoring you as if they are not going down then they will sort you out with your meds meanwhile you could look at what you are eating and try and cut anything down that may not be helping
