I had one stent fitted in August 20 to my LAD artery, fortunately after pains rather than a HA. I had been losing weight before and after this and went down 3 stone in total. In Jan this year was ambulanced in following pains that were put down as muscular / skeletal. Since then I have been active and fine. Hope all goes well with you.....
Had 8 stents since 2012 and managed muscular pain across body including in chest due to statins, but have maintained good muscle shape due to fitness regime. Had bypass in November and lost all muscle mass in chest (expected), but expect to regain once I am able to fully return to exercise regime. I run a fitness group for heart patients and never heard anyone lose muscle mass from stents, but weight loss yes, you may want to talk to your GP further if you have ongoing concerns.
