Hi, has anyone ever had purple feet?
The soles of my feet seem to have pooled blood.
GP too busy to see me.
Just thought I’d ask on here if anyone has any advice please?

"GP too busy to see me" do you know what he was busy doing? Or are you just being facetious?
My left foot has turned purple , Gp said it was due to me taking aspirin, broken veins .
If you have blood pooling in your feet this is a serious condition known as Chronic Venous Insufficiency. This has many potential causes including varicose veins, blood clots, heart failure and many others. Obviously it is a bank holiday weekend now and you should have sought advice earlier. What you therefore need to do is ring 111 for advice. You should be prepared for a trip to hospital to see an out-of-hours GP or a visit to A&E. Good luck.
Thank you for your reply.I didn’t notice the problem until 5pm today.
I will seek medical advice.
Keep us updated.
Good morning, I called 111 they said leave it for now see GP next week but if any change or new symptoms to call them back.
I have purple feet but my heart nurse checked to make sure I had a pulse in my ankle, they clear when I am lying down and apparently beta blockers slow the circulation to the extremeties - cold hands and feet. Do your feet return to normal after you've been lying down?
Thanks for your reply, yes they do. I’m only on lowest dose of beta blocker but it could be that too.
Silvia May be best off phoning 999, from my experiences 111 is time wasting. A Dr in the hospital told me don’t ring them to ring 999. Last mont due to covid recommendation on internet I did. Waited 2 hrs for them to ring back, husband had to drive me to A&E 8 miles away.
