His Royal Highness The Prince Philip KG KT, who was our Patron since the Charity was founded in 1961 until his sad death on 9 April 2021.
Goodnight Sir: His Royal Highness The... - British Heart Fou...
Goodnight Sir
So very sad, and so sad for the queen, all her family were there but no one could put a comforting arm around her or hold her hand, she was sat on her own, so alone. God bless the queen and her family.
Yes she seemed so small and vulnerable but I think she will bounce back fairly quickly. I think I preferred a smaller funeral than one with shed loads of politicians and the like.
In the morning's documentary on the restoration of Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park his involvement was much more than I thought. Definitely one in a generation!
He will be missed in many walks of life. An amazing man with foresight and motivation. The queen did look so tiny, especially with a mask on as well.May he rest in peace and may she find comfort in her memories.
The service was incredibly well organised & very moving - a very fitting tribute. His work will be greatly missed across many charities. God bless our wonderful Queen.
God bless him and his wonderful brave wife The Queen they don’t make them like it anymore!I often think of his bravery and determination towards the end and it inspires me genuinely to just I quote “get on with it” he never meant things maliciously the press have beaten him in the past but I will always remember him fondly and aptly as the nations grandfather and his sense of humour got him through I will continue smiling through too brits are made of strong stuff we all are if we look inside ourselves deep enough
RIP xxxx
A wonderful Patron to BHF and involved with so many charities to make our world a better place. Praying for Comfort in their grief , especially our beloved Queen.
Wonderful photo Michael
Found the funeral very moving, the sight of Her Majesty looking very small and alone really made me take a deep breath. Many families have had the same things to face this past year. So very difficult, for everyone.
RIP Prince Philip
