Hi

My husband has 2 stents in his main artery in February. Diagnosis of heart disease. Any help with travel insurance would be appreciated as the quotes i have had are the cost of another holiday.

I'd recommend Staysure - they're not the cheapest but the cover is very good. I have an annual worldwide policy (except US) for £370. Insurance companies are frequently reluctant to offer a quote in the immediate aftermath of a medical event and like to see if the patient is stable, normally 6 months after the event seems to be where they become more prepared to offer cover. As your husband only had stents in February they may be loading the premium (notwithstanding that you don't plan to holiday till 2022) - it might be a case of waiting till later in the year before looking for a quote.
