"My name is Alexander, I am a cardiologist and a paramedic. A very important warning for those who wake up at night to go to the bathroom...

You must be careful with the " One-and-a-Half-minute law " that is scientifically proven " by waking up suddenly " to make your physiological needs normally, you hear that someone " was well in health and died suddenly during the night without Reason ". the most likely reason is that when that person woke up to go to the bathroom, she got up from bed in a hurry, right now, the brain needs greater blood flow, for having rested, causing a state of fainting there The stroke happens...

In this case, it is recommended to learn the " One-and-a-Half-minute law " that can " save

When you wake up to go to the bathroom, you must first: " lie down for 30 seconds after waking up " and then " sit in bed for 30 more seconds ", lower your legs quietly and " sit on the End of bed for another 30 seconds " and only then get up to go to the bathroom.

With these steps the chances are gigantic to survive a sudden stroke, regardless of age...

Share with all your family and friends. Remember that you can save yours and the lives of many people sharing this information...

Prevention is better than healing *

Water effect

About the body

We know that water is important but you never knew the right time to drink!

Did you know?

Drinking water in the correct time maximizes the effectiveness of the human body;

1 Glass of water after waking up, helps activate internal organs...

1 Glass of water 30 minutes before meal helps digestion.

1 Glass of water before showering helps lower blood pressure.

1 Glass of water

Before sleeping avoids stroke or heart attack.

' when someone shares something important with you, take advantage of this and share with more people.

I did my part. 😉

Do yours and pass

Let's together save lives that are part of our life..."

End Quote.

Yes, I was told to drink water when blood pressure dropped too low. Yet the original posting says the opposite.

I was also under the same impression as blood volume would increase with added water. If what he says is wrong then he cannot be a cardiologist.

Strange to be both a cardiologist and a paramedic

I certainly never met someone on a cardiologist’s salary sat in the back of an ambulance 🤔

Yes. I'm an electronic technician and an electrical engineer as I studied further. This guy perhaps was a degreed paramedic and studied further later.

Good info easily memorised thanks . My only observation is that most of the nation would be on BP meds or hovering on the brink . How thresholds have changed

Not your experience. Pasted from google no doubt. We are a peer to peer forum. Medical advice should not be posted

Some people here are so petty it is laughable. This is not medical advice but something we should all know and abide by.

Did you check that is was evidence based information or someone's opinion?

There is another bogus article circulating that claims if you cough you can prevent a Cardiac arrest.

bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo...

Some of Dr Sanjay Gupta's information is good about arrthymia particular but incorrect and outdated on other topics. He has so far not updated this information despite several requests to do so, supported by the latest research.

in reply togilreid1

It is. I've looked as well!

I checked and found that he is correct. If you are dehydrated then your blood vessels constrict and thereby increase your blood pressure.

I fail to grasp why an article must be nonsense if also on Facebook. Please explain.

Members often post links to Dr Gupta on YT and that is ok.

I post a quote from a link from a Doctor that I found on FB but this must be nonsense and not allowed.

Why not check it out? It's Bogus, been circulating since 2015!

About Facebook I must add this;

When I was young I decided to study medicine.

At the entrance exam we were asked to rearrange the letters

PNEIS

and form the name of an important body part which is most useful erect.

Those who answered SPINE are now Doctors while the rest are on Facebook.

I find it so difficult to drink water, is carbonated water OK as I enjoy that? Sorry to be stupid!

Thank you - I do my best to eat/drink healthily and people do go on about water but I've never been able to do more than sip a little tap water, so I'' happily increase my carbonated water intake.

Probably good advice but only if your bathroom is across the landing from your bedroom. If it is downstairs at the furthest point in the house from said bedroom then taking 90secs longer to get out of bed is going to result in some serious cleaning bills. Portapotti on the landing anyone!😊
