Bisoprolol side effects

I Was prescribed bisoprolol 1.25mg I only took them for 6 days asI felt so ill my gp Told me to stop but 2 weeks later I still don't feel ok is this common

What symptoms are you getting at present? Also what symptoms were you getting when you were taking the bisoprolol? And why were you prescribed the medication?

I Was diagnosed with ventricolar eptopic bigemeney after I starter the pills I Was feeling exhausted nauseous bad head felt like I Was suffocating aching limbs

13 weeks after stopping them am still not back to normal though a lot better so you are not alone . Some people don’t have any problems a lot do. I see a lot on here regarding bisoprolol. I'm on 7.5mg and have never experienced any issues. Guess I'm lucky if that's the right way to think if it. I'd recommend chatting with the gp if you're having any issues at all. I often wonder if there's any long term effects to being on it...

I took Bisoprolol and was on it for months, and for months, I felt my very life slip away from me. I was breathless, sore limbs, exhausted, no motivation, found it difficult to move a 4 minute walk took me over 30 minutes. My consultant noticed my breathing, he organised an ECG and the full works and then took me off Bisoprolol and within 3 days, I was back to my old self and even better as now I had full benefit of my stents. It is always worth discussing with your GP or Consultant (even better) and go from there - good luck!
